1. Who we are
Vento — kite & adventure ("Vento", "we") is a kitesurf school in Ceará, Brazil, and is the controller of the personal data processed on ventokite.com.br. Contact: WhatsApp +55 85 98203-8421.
2. What data we process
- Browsing data (pages viewed, device type, approximate country and how you reached the site), through analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them.
- What you write to us on WhatsApp or Instagram: your name, number or username and any trip details you choose to share. These conversations go through Meta's services, which have their own privacy policies.
We never sell your data.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your questions and organise lessons, kitetrips, accommodation and transfers.
- To learn which channels and ads bring visits and enquiries, so we can improve the site.
- To show Vento ads to people who have already visited the site (only with your consent).
4. Legal basis
Your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 7, I LGPD), which you can withdraw at any time; and handling pre-contractual requests you make when you contact us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; Art. 7, V LGPD).
5. Cookies and third-party services
- Google Tag Manager: manages the site's measurement tags.
- Google Analytics 4: visit statistics (only with consent).
- Google Ads and Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram): measuring ad results and building remarketing audiences (only with consent).
- Google Fonts: the site's typefaces; your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
- Instagram and WhatsApp links: opening them takes you to Meta's services.
Without your consent, Google tools run in restricted mode, with no analytics or advertising cookies.
6. International transfers
Google and Meta may process data outside your country (for example, in the United States), with the safeguards required by the GDPR and the LGPD, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiry conversations, for as long as the relationship lasts and up to 2 years afterwards. Analytics data, according to each tool's settings (up to 14 months in Google Analytics).
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your data, object to its use and withdraw consent by messaging us on WhatsApp. You may also complain to your country's data protection authority or to the ANPD (Brazil).
